Safari Painting Day Again

I set aside today as another day of painting. We began painting after walking up Kepayang Hill TWICE and then to FS for breakfast. Mum and Dad came over at 11am to help out.

We painted from 10.15am – 7pm. In between, Aunty Chris, SK, Sze-En and Uncle Allan helped. It was indeed a family get-together. Mum even prepared lunch (porridge) for all of us. Oh yes, Frankie came over to help cut the plywood. By the end of his cutting session, he was dripping with sweat.

We managed to paint 9 animals and the individual SAFARI letters. That was a lot of painting done. Right now, all I have left to do are the outlines. Pretty simple but a lot of work.

So, we were painting and Pastor Gan came over to see what we were doing. Later, Lisa came over and discussed some wedding stuff … much later, her whole family came over. Wow! So many visitors in a day.

We could’ve gone on painting but I had BCM classes. So at 7pm, I took a quick shower and rushed out to church for the NT Survey class. I was sooo tired and my body was aching all over. I think I didn’t really give my best attention in class. I almost fell asleep. After class, we took Pastor Tan Yong Heng to Curry Leaf for dinner. By then, I was totally whacked and wanted to sleep. When we went back, right after brushing my teeth, I went to bed…. and slept like a log. In the morning, I felt as though m body was glued to the ground (I was sleeping on the ground because it was too suffy in the room). Nevertheless, I managed to survive throughout the entire day. Thank God for sustaining me!
