Chocolate Chip Cookies

 

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter

3/4 cup white sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

2 cups chocolate chips

1 cup nuts (optional)

 

Method

 

Preheat oven to 190 degrees C

 

- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl, set aside.  

- Cream butter, white sugar and brown sugar together in big bowl until creamy.  

- Mix in vanilla.  

- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg.  

- Gradually beat in flour mixture.  

- Add chocolate chips and mix well.  

- Mix in nuts (if desired).  

- Drop by teaspoonsful unto ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.

- Let stand to cool two minutes, then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
